Do you have a gambling addiction?
If you answer yes to some of the following questions you may have a gambling addiction.

- Do you take time off work to gamble?
- Are you in debt?
- Are you living in fear of debt collectors knocking on your door?
- Do you spend more time gambling than doing other things?
- Do you prioritise gambling over your family/friends/work/hobbies?
- Do you spend periods of time away from home so that you can gamble?
- Do you lie to others about your financial situation?
- Do you lie about visiting betting shops or placing bets online?
- Do you borrow money to gamble?
- Have you stolen money to gamble?
- Are you spending an increasing amount of time gambling?
- Do you think about gambling a lot?
- If you lose a bet do you carry on gambling?
- Does gambling affect your personality? Do you become agitated or aggressive if you lose, for example?
- Do your loved ones ask you questions about where you have been or if you have been gambling?
- Do your loved ones check your pockets or look at your bank statements?
- Have your loved ones spoken to you about gambling? Have they stopped trusting you with money?
